The opportunity

As part of the AI & Data team within our Technology Consulting practice, you will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver impactful data solutions—ranging from modern data lakes and real-time pipelines to actionable insights and AI‑powered analytics. You will have the opportunity to work and take responsibilities in challenging engagements, gaining exposure to clients in various sectors both in Greece and abroad.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable data pipelines to support batch and streaming data workloads across cloud-native environments
- Build data transformations and integrations using modern data engineering languages (e.g. Python, SQL) and frameworks (e.g. Spark or similar)
- Collaborate with data architects and analysts to translate business needs into technical specifications and production-grade pipelines
- Apply best practices in data modeling, version control, code quality, and modular pipeline development
- Contribute to data platform modernization projects, ensuring robustness, reusability, and maintainability of the data engineering codebaseParticipate in client workshops, documenting technical requirements, and contributing to solution design discussions
- Support testing, deployment, and monitoring of data solutions in production environments
- A BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or other related, quantitative fields.
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.Knowledge of Data Management concepts & methodologies.
- Familiarity with at least one of the following: Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Lakehouse, Delta etc.
- Working experience in complex data querying (SQL, Spark).
- Experience in ETL/Pipelines design & development using industry tools (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Airflow, dbt, Informatica Cloud Data Integration, etc).
- Experience with Cloud Data Platforms (Snowflake, Azure, AWS etc.) and streaming solutions (e.g. Kafka) will be considered a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Desire to investigate and try-out new tools and technologies.
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines with precision and composure.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within high-performing teams.
- Confidence to convey technical advice and guidance to clients.
- Evidence of self-motivation for continuous development.
