Software Engineer

One of the top e-commerce powerhouse companies is looking for a Software Dev Engineer to join their Seattle, WA team!

Our client is looking for a Software Development Engineer II to join their FORCE / AI DLC team. This team supports high-impact merchandising applications and customer-facing services that operate at massive scale across the ecosystem. This role offers the opportunity to work on highly visible systems, understand how large-scale payment and merchandising platforms operate, and make high-velocity engineering decisions that directly impact customers and internal operations.

Contract Duration: 4-Month Contract with the opportunity for extension

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Java
• Experience with system design and scalable application architecture
• Experience developing and supporting production software applications
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills within distributed systems

What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities

• Provide development and first-level production support for merchandising applications
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production software issues
• Develop monitoring and observability solutions for critical systems
• Improve systems used for gathering operational metrics and performance insights
• Write and optimize SQL queries to support troubleshooting and reporting efforts
• Implement fixes and enhancements for internally developed applications
