Our client is looking for a Software Development Engineer II to join their FORCE / AI DLC team. This team supports high-impact merchandising applications and customer-facing services that operate at massive scale across the ecosystem. This role offers the opportunity to work on highly visible systems, understand how large-scale payment and merchandising platforms operate, and make high-velocity engineering decisions that directly impact customers and internal operations.
Contract Duration: 4-Month Contract with the opportunity for extension
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of professional software development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Java
- Experience with system design and scalable application architecture
- Experience developing and supporting production software applications
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills within distributed systems
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
- Provide development and first-level production support for merchandising applications
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production software issues
- Develop monitoring and observability solutions for critical systems
- Improve systems used for gathering operational metrics and performance insights
- Write and optimize SQL queries to support troubleshooting and reporting efforts
- Implement fixes and enhancements for internally developed applications
