- Maintain & Enhance the DWH: Own the architecture of our Data Warehouse, ensuring it is scalable, cost-effective, and optimized for both analytical and operational needs.
- Pipeline Automation: Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from various sources into our AWS ecosystem. Work closely with our MLOPs Engineering team to assist the data pipelines for our AI / ML models
- Stakeholder Enablement: Work closely with Product, Finance, and Commercial teams to automate internal reporting and create self-service data environments.
- AWS Infrastructure: Leverage and manage AWS services (such as Glue, Redshift, Athena, Lambda, and S3) to ensure a high-performing data environment.
- Data Quality & Governance: Implement monitoring and validation frameworks to ensure data integrity and lineage across all systems.
- Collaborate: Partner with our DevOps and Backend teams to align infrastructure and ensure smooth data flow across the entire Kreditz platform.
In Addition To That We Believe You Have
- BSc / MSc in a quantitative subject, i.e., Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar role focused on data infrastructure.
- Expert-level SQL skills for complex transformations and performance tuning.
- Proficiency in Python for building pipelines and automating tasks.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS (specifically services like Redshift/Snowflake, S3, Glue, and Lambda).
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (e.g., Star Schema, Kimball) and modern data stack tools.
- Experience with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Dagster) and CI/CD workflows (i.e., GitHub Actions).
- Ability to translate complex technical data structures into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Experience from FinTech, Open Banking, or working with highly regulated data.
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., AWS QuickSight, PowerBI...etc)
