Founding Software Engineer

About us:

Sparrow helps Americans recover money that’s been captured by government bureaucracy. We’ve already helped people recover $12M and are growing 40% month-over-month, with a profitable acquisition engine and rapid nationwide expansion. We’re looking for eager and intelligent people to help us reunite Americans with the remaining $100 Billion dollars of lost money.

What you will be doing:

• Own core systems from design through production
• Design event-driven automation that replaces manual operational workflows
• Architect systems that scale throughput, directly impacting revenue
• Collaborate with founders to scope, plan, and ship new product initiatives

What we are looking for:

• 2+ years of experience in software engineering
• You take pride in writing beautiful code and use AI as a force multiplier
• Deep fluency in TypeScript, Next.js, and relational databases
• Experience modeling complex business domains using Domain-Driven Design
• Clean architecture sensibility with domain/infrastructure separation and layered design
• Comfortable in a high ownership, high velocity environment

Nice to haves:

• Experience working at startups
• Previously worked in FinTech or Legal Tech Space

Salary & benefits:

• Base Salary: $125,000-$150,000
• Equity: 1.5-2.5%
