Software Engineer – Frontend (AI Training Contract)

About The Role

Frontend developers: your skills are in high demand — not just for building products, but for shaping the AI models that millions of developers will rely on. We're looking for experienced frontend engineers to review, write, and refine high-quality UI coding problems and solutions used to train and evaluate cutting-edge AI systems.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role where your technical judgment directly influences how AI understands and generates frontend code. If you love clean code, sharp UI logic, and want your expertise to have real impact beyond any single product, this is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Review and evaluate AI-generated frontend code (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) for correctness, efficiency, accessibility, and clarity
  • Write high-quality solutions to UI and web development problems across a range of difficulty levels
  • Craft clear, thorough explanations for design decisions, code logic, and problem-solving approaches
  • Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and weaknesses in problem statements or AI-generated responses
  • Help set the quality bar for what great frontend code looks like — at scale

Who You Are

  • Fluent in English with strong written communication skills — you can explain complex frontend concepts clearly
  • Deep expertise in JavaScript: async/await, closures, DOM manipulation, ES6+ syntax, browser APIs
  • Experienced with modern frontend frameworks and tooling such as React, Vue, or Angular
  • Detail-oriented, with a strong instinct for catching subtle bugs and edge cases
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment

Nice to Have

  • 3–5+ years of professional frontend development experience
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field
  • Prior experience with data labeling, RLHF, or AI training workflows
  • Familiarity with web accessibility standards and performance optimization techniques
