About the Role
The Account Manager is responsible for managing compliance and profitability of a wide portfolio of existing corporate customers. Can identify and develop additional revenue streams with existing clients. This hands-on role will drive the profitable development and expansion of the B2B segment while fostering long-term relationships and meeting set targets.
Responsibilities
- Take a planned approach to managing key customer relationships and achieve/exceed existing client specific revenue growth targets annually
- Ensure all client activity is driven by a planned and coordinated strategy
- Adhere to a regular meeting schedule to maximise the client’s ‘value perception’
- Lead and manage business relationships
- Setting client expectations to achieve satisfaction
- Monitoring service provision to maintain agreed standards
- Identifying potential business obstacles and providing solutions
- Effectively represent the client’s service requirements, expectations and perceptions to internal stakeholders to ensure awareness of potential threats exists and pro-active remedial action is enabled
- Prepare professional client tender renewal negotiation responses
- Implement pricing adjustments as per contract and on time
- Review and understand proposed pricing/product offering in line with our required margins and compare to market offerings
- Prepare meaningful account plans and accurate reports for both customers and internal use
- Monitor, report and action significant deviations from established or anticipated revenue levels
- Regularly review Product/Service offerings to identify and implement
- Continuous improvement opportunities to deliver efficiencies
- Innovative service enhancements to increase value perceptions
- Participate in client relationship and training exercises as required
- Identify and pursue incremental business opportunities within the existing customer base, including upsell and cross-sell initiatives.
