About the Role
We are a fast-growing company in the robotic vacuum cleaner and floor care sector, expanding our presence across Europe. We are looking for a Local Account Manager to take full ownership of our business in Hungary. In this role, you will manage relationships with key retail partners, drive sell-in and sell-out performance, and ensure our brand stands out in a competitive consumer electronics market. Key Responsibilities
Retailers & Channel Management
- Manage and grow relationships with key partners in Hungary, including electrical retailers (Mediamarkt, Euronics, etc), e-commerce platforms, and retail store chains.
- Negotiate trading terms, promotional calendars, and in-store visibility to maximize brand presence and sales performance.
- Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, and coordinate with internal supply chain teams to ensure optimal inventory across channels.
Sales & Commercial Performance
- Drive sell-out performance through effective planning of promotions, bundling strategies, and in-store activations.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and volume targets for the Hungary market.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and address underperforming accounts.
Marketing & In-Store Execution
- Collaborate with the marketing team to localize campaigns, product launches, and demo activities.
- Collaborate with the retail team train retail sales staff on product features, key selling points, and competitive positioning of robotic vacuum cleaners.
- Ensure high-quality in-store merchandising and shelf presence across all retail touchpoints.
Customer Experience&Market Intelligence
- Gather customer feedback and field insights to support product improvement and future development.
- Track competitor activities in the robotic vacuum and floor care segment in Hungary, including pricing, promotions, and new product launches.
- Provide regular market insights and recommendations to the regional team.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development within the consumer electronics, SDA, smarttphone, or home appliances sectors.
- Proven experience managing major retailer accounts such as Mediamarkt, Euronics, Alza, or similar.
- Experience in SDA, smartphone, floor care, or smart home products is a strong advantage.
Language Skills
- Native hungary speaker.
- Fluent English.
Core Competencies
- Deep understanding of the Hungary market landscape, especially in consumer electronics.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Result-oriented, Data-driven mindset with experience using sales analytics tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel regularly within Hungary for client visits and retail store checks.
- Emotionally stable,level-headed with a high degree of professionalism
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Other Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Authorization to work in Hungary
