Senior Software Engineer, iOS

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer, iOS to join Snap and build consumer-facing, Generative AI-first mobile products. You will create high-quality experiences for creators and help ship polished features at scale.

What You’ll Do

• Build and ship end-to-end features for iOS applications
• Create smooth, reliable, high-performance mobile experiences
• Partner with product, design, backend, and iOS teams
• Improve app performance, stability, and quality
• Contribute to technical direction and engineering best practices

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience building consumer-facing mobile products
• Deep iOS expertise, with a strong product and performance mindset
• Strong computer science fundamentals and problem-solving skills
• Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working across teams

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience
• Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C
• Strong knowledge of UIKit, Foundation, Core Animation, and Core Data
• Understanding of runtime behaviour, OS internals, multithreading, and mobile optimisation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience shipping and maintaining large-scale iOS applications
• Familiarity with cross-platform frameworks such as React Native
• Experience with iOS performance optimisation
• Experience with C/C++, OpenGL, or Metal
• Passion for building polished, stable user experiences
