Job Responsibilities
- Build and maintain internal security tooling for research teams (e.g., red-teaming automation, data pipelines, etc).
- Develop scalable services and pipelines to support experimentation, prototyping, and model validation.
- Design secure data ingestion and processing flows while protecting sensitive datasets.
- Collaborate with researchers to translate prototypes into robust infrastructure components (monitoring, logging, dashboards, APIs).
- Integrate research tooling into CI/CD workflows to streamline testing and deployment.
- Evaluate and adapt emerging cloud and AI security technologies for internal use.
- 3+ years of hands-on software development experience (Python, Go, or similar), with a focus on backend systems, infrastructure, or internal tooling.
- Proven experience building and maintaining developer-facing tools, services, or automation frameworks.
- Strong understanding of secure software engineering principles and experience working on cybersecurity-related products, tooling, or infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate closely with research teams in a fast-moving environment.
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Expertise with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including security and compute/storage services.
- Hands-on experience with data engineering technologies (Kafka, Spark, Airflow) and modern databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure, MLOps tools, or model evaluation workflows (Kubeflow, MLflow, SageMaker, Databricks).
- Experience developing tooling for security research, red-team operations, or adversarial AI testing.
- Background in building monitoring/logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry) or internal dashboards/APIs for engineering teams.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm, Ansible) and modern DevOps practices.
- Prior work in a research-oriented environment or supporting RD teams with platform/infrastructure capabilities.
