Software Engineer

Salary: £99,450 - £134,550 annual

A leading aerospace and defense company is looking for a Software Engineer. This role is critical in provisioning and managing lab environments both on-premises and in the cloud, orchestrating automated integration testing across multiple program segments, and managing deployment mechanisms to physical and virtual systems.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, provision, and maintain scalable lab environments on-premises and on cloud platforms using Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Develop and manage automated integration testing workflows that aggregate inputs from multiple program segments to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Manage and optimize automated deployment pipelines for both physical and virtual systems to ensure reliable software delivery.
• Collect and analyze data-driven feedback on product stability and performance to enable continuous improvement across development teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA and security to align deployment strategies and environment configurations.

What We're Looking For

• Legally authorized to work in the United States with a Bachelor's Degree in a technical field.
• Proven experience in DevSecOps, cloud engineering, or related software engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or ARM templates.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms like EKS or AKS.
• Strong background in CI/CD pipeline development using tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
