Software Engineer (Gradle) at BairesDev

As a Software Engineer specializing in Gradle, you will manage complex build configurations to streamline the development lifecycle. You will serve as a key architect for build automation, ensuring high-performance execution and efficient dependency management across the JVM ecosystem.

What You'll Do

• Design and maintain complex build configurations using Gradle and Kotlin DSL.
• Develop custom Gradle plugins to extend build functionality and automate repetitive tasks.
• Analyze and optimize build performance to reduce developer wait times and resource consumption.
• Manage and resolve complex dependency trees to ensure system stability and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to establish build standards and best practices for Java-based projects.

What We Are Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Build Engineering, or Developer Productivity.
• Proven expertise in managing complex build configurations and build automation using Gradle.
• Advanced proficiency in Kotlin DSL and Java for build script development and customization.
• Hands-on experience writing custom Gradle plugins to extend build functionality.
• Strong background in optimizing build performance and managing dependency resolution.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
