Retail Account Manager or Non-Fuel Retail (NFR) Manager

We are a fast-growing fuel retail company operating a nationwide network of service stations (SPBU) and Head Office operations. We are currently seeking a highly competent and hands-on professional to join our Marketing Team.


About the Role

We are seeking a Retail Account Manager or Non-Fuel Retail Manager to manage and optimize all Non-Fuel Retail (NFR) business activities within the fuel station network (including minimarkets, coffee shops, F&B outlets, workshops, restaurants, and other non-fuel offerings) to increase revenue, profitability, and overall income contribution to the fuel station business in a sustainable manner, while maintaining operational standards, service quality, and compliance with regulations and safety.


Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Business Development

  • Develop short-term and long-term NFR business development strategies to ensure profit targets are achieved.
  • Identify potential product/service opportunities to enhance offerings at bp fuel stations.
  • Conduct market trend, consumer behavior, and competitor analysis to grow the NFR business.
  • Explore relevant NFR business partners to achieve company profit targets.
  • Analyze new fuel station locations and determine offerings that match their demographics.
  • Lead the development of NFR promotional programs, cross-promotions with fuel, and other NFR business innovations.


2. Data Analysis & Profit Improvement

  • Set overall and per-location monthly and annual NFR revenue targets.
  • Develop business case analyses for each new partner, project, or program.
  • Develop pricing strategy analysis for NFR business collaborations.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly and annual NFR performance reports for management.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations and improvement strategies.


3. Project Management & Operational Oversight

  • Ensure NFR stores and outlets open according to agreed timelines and targets.
  • Develop processes and SOPs for the NFR department.
  • Ensure NFR outlet operations comply with bp fuel station safety requirements.
  • Lead coordination with partners, internal teams, and fuel stations to ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct regular site visits and operational audits.
  • Ensure partner compliance with bp fuel station safety standards and applicable government regulations.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in retail, FMCG, or convenience store chains.
  • Experience in managing multiple outlets is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in P&L management.
  • Modern retail management.
  • Strategic partnership management.
  • Financial analysis & budgeting.
  • Retail POS systems.
  • Business negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking.
  • Strong business acumen.
