Software Developer (#5401)

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is building a team to support a major public sector client in delivering modern application development services across a complex enterprise environment. This role will focus on responsive front-end development using Angular, along with .NET-based APIs, service integration, and full-stack delivery.

This is an opportunity to work on high-impact enterprise applications with a strong emphasis on accessibility, performance, Agile delivery, DevOps practices, and clean, maintainable code.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using modern web frameworks
• Translate UX/UI designs and business requirements into high-quality, production-ready code
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimal user experience across devices
• Develop and enhance .NET-based APIs and services to support front-end functionality
• Contribute to data integration, service orchestration, and API design aligned to enterprise standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve full-stack issues where front-end and back-end systems intersect
• Deliver features end-to-end, from design through development, testing, and deployment
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following established coding standards
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to security, performance, and accessibility best practices
• Work closely with product owners, UX/UI designers, and other developers to deliver business value
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Provide input into technical design decisions and implementation approaches
• Support CI/CD pipelines, including build, release, and deployment processes such as Azure DevOps
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues and contribute to continuous improvement of system reliability
• Document technical solutions, APIs, and key design decisions
• Contribute to reusable components, shared libraries, and enterprise standards

Requirements:

• 6–9 years of direct hands-on software development experience
• 6+ years of experience using Angular
• Extensive experience leading the development lifecycle, including design, development, integration, testing, and prototyping
• Extensive experience using Agile and DevOps tools, techniques, and processes
• Extensive experience participating in activities that support team delivery
• Ability to work in highly complex and integrated environments
• Experience developing responsive, accessible, and performant web applications
• Experience with .NET-based APIs and services
• Experience supporting CI/CD, build, release, and deployment processes
• Strong understanding of secure coding, performance, accessibility, and maintainability best practices
• Experience working with product owners, UX/UI designers, and development teams in an Agile environment
