Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Self-Serve Tooling: Own the end-to-end development of platforms that convert repeated marketing asks into reusable capabilities (e.g., AI content writing workflows, MCP integration with design systems).
- Drive AI/Augmented Workflows: Be opinionated about agentic workflows, guiding the development of the agent layer with strong guardrails.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner directly with marketers, designers, and product managers to identify high-leverage workflows to automate.
- Ensure Velocity and Quality: Ship high-velocity updates without compromising the brand or the production funnel.
- Reduce Ticket Burden: Build systems that eliminate the need for manual requests, measured by the percentage of work that ships without engineering intervention.
- Experience: 4+ years of product engineering experience, preferably in high-growth tech companies.
- Background: Demonstrated track record of building internal tools or platforms that reduced repetitive workflows for non-engineers.
- Stack: Familiarity with Next.js, Sanity CMS, Python, and TypeScript.
- Product Sense: Ability to distinguish between tooling that compounds value and busywork; comfortable scoping and prioritizing.
- AI Proficiency: Comfort with AI/LLM-augmented engineering, agentic workflows, MCP servers, or LLM-powered tooling.
- Ownership: Ability to ship without supervision and operate in undefined operating models.
- Empathy: Strong cross-functional empathy to understand user struggles directly.
- Experience with marketing or growth engineering (CMS, A/B testing, paid-ads pipelines).
- Experience with the modern data stack (e.g., Fivetran, Airflow, Snowflake).
- Specific experience with MCP servers or agentic systems behind guardrails.
- Experience building experimentation platforms (LaunchDarkly, Optimizely, Statsig).
- Background in SEO/AEO engineering or programmatic page generation.
- Experience working closely with brand and design teams.
