Data Engineer (f/m/x), 80-100%, remote

What You Will Do

• Design, implement and continuouslyoptimizeplatform services on our modernindustry standardGCP based data environment
• Interacting with our software architects/engineers, datascientistsand business analysts in an agile environment to define data needs & provide solutions
• Developing a high-quality code base for our data pipelines
• Development,provisioningand monitoring of our data products
• Maintenance of our data pipeline orchestration, datalakeand data warehouse
• ...room for own data & engineering initiatives

• You are knowledgeable and experienced in SQL programmingand dbt
• At least 3 years of experiencein a similar data science/engineering environment with a strongtrack recordof data projects on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with GCP native services likeBigQuery, Cloud Run,Dataproc, and Dataflowhighly appreciated
• Experience in developing high-quality software incl. unit & integration tests in one or more languages (such as Pythonor Java) whileleveragingCI/CD tools and Git.
• You have experience withmanaging data pipeline workflows with Airflow
• Experience working with containerization (Docker) and infrastructure as a codeframeworks (Terraform)
• Having worked with distributed computing technologies like Apache Spark and knowledge of ML concepts/frameworks is a strong plus
• You are open fornew technologiesand challenges
