Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve account renewal and extension targets for the specified book of accounts and industry segment
- Achieve gross profit targets for the specified book of accounts and industry segment
- Lead all aspects of 365 day engagement for assigned clients to increase utilisation, client satisfaction, timely renewals and profitable growth.
- Service Quality. Track service quality and project implementation against promised standards to ensure client satisfaction is achieved.
- Resolve concerns. Manage client issues and concerns with service delivery to restore customer satisfaction and maintain client retention.
- Quarterly Reviews. Conduct quarterly reviews with clients to demonstrate value, return on prevention and return on investment from our solutions.
- Relationships. Grow a network and build relationships with decision makers and key stakeholders within the client organisation.
- Growth Practively. Administer renewals, drive up-selling and cross-selling initiatives.
- Industry. Follow the trends, issues, and changes in the industry segment to identify new demand for International SOS products and sales opportunities.
- Use Salesforce. Grow and manage a pipeline of opportunities. Report as requested on business development and new opportunities.
- Develop and agree a client engagement strategy with internal partners
- Distribution Partnerships. Implement distribution initiatives with insurance companies, brokers, Travel Management Companies and Control Risks.
- Cross Border. Drive the growth of cross border sales through proactive cooperation with other regions, the Global Accounts team, and other business units. Ensure recording of cross border activities in Salesforce.
- Work effectively with internal partners from the medical, security, health and operations teams, Client Services, Business Development and Corporate Services.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong relationship building skills. A natural networker with the ability to map out key account plans and effectively up sell into current accounts together with establishing a pipeline of new client prospects.
- Well developed influencing and negotiating skills with the ability to motivate and influence internal and external clients.
- Strong planning and organization skills.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to successfully manage numerous projects simultaneously, including activity planning and pipeline management.
- Strong individual who can work autonomously and within a team to deliver results.
- Ability to express ideas concisely and clearly, orally and in writing
- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM applications).
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness. Ability to work in a multi-lingual, multi-cultural environment where collaboration is the norm
- 3 -5 years’ experience in an Account Management role with gross profit responsibility. Proven track record in account renewals, extension and growth required.
- Direct B2B solution/consultative selling experience
- Account Management or Business Development experience in the Hong Kong required / preferred.
- Exposure to working in a cross-border engagement sales environment an advantage.
- Associate Degree or University level
- Ability to communicate in English, Cantonese fluently with clients amd internal teams, and ability to speak Mandarin with internal colleagues in China
- Occasional travel within China
