Job Description Senior Account Manager The Location:

Beijing/Shenzhen Job Description: S&P Global’s Market Intelligence division is currently searching for an experienced Account Manager to join our Commercial team in Beijing or Shenzhen. This person is responsible for managing existing client relationships in Mainland China. Account Manager will work independently in developing designated accounts and segments with client retention, revenue growth and upsell new products as the primary focus. For this Senior Account Manager role, S&P Global Market Intelligence prefers candidates with experience managing complicated accounts as well as have experience developing new sales opportunities. These professionals will find that S&P Global Market Intelligence provides a challenging and flexible environment, which values self-motivation and team collaboration. Responsibilities: Contribute to Revenue growth through retention, price increases and Identifying potential new sales opportunities within existing client accounts which includes new product sales and scope expansion Maintaining strong relationships with client organizations, addressing their needs, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. This includes timely end-user problem resolution, whether technical, product or content related Form strategic account plan and execute with clear objectives and action plans Demonstrating exceptional skills in listening to clients, articulating ideas and complex information in a clear and structured manner Strong ability to carry out a sales client meeting, including ability to diagnose, design and deliver solutions for our clients in a persuasive manner with strong presentation skills Addressing product related questions from clients by seeking solutions across appropriate internal groups Ability to develop comprehensive recommendations including but not limited to market needs and product feedback in efforts to improve the business Collaborating effectively across teams as well as creating an atmosphere of trust and open communication Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree is a plus At least 5-8 years in a client facing role, preferably in the financial services industry 3 - 5 years track record of direct sales contribution is a plus Excellence in working with multi-parties both internal and external stakeholders Problem solver with strategic thinking, established relationship building skill and project management skill is a plus Fluent in oral and written English and Mandarin About Company Statement: S&P Global delivers essential intelligence that powers decision making.
