Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot

• Build and maintain microservices architecture
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms like AWS / PCF
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, QA, DevOps) to deliver features end-to-end
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code (yes, people still say this)
• Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices

Work Experience

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend development
• Strong experience in Java (8 or above)
• Hands-on expertise with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data
• Solid understanding of REST API design principles
• Experience with Microservices architecture
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with Docker / Kubernetes
• Good understanding of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines

Good to Have

• Experience with React/Angular for frontend development
• Hands-on with API automation testing (Rest Assured, Postman, Karate, etc.)
• Exposure to event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Knowledge of security best practices (OAuth2, JWT)
