Senior Digital Marketing Manager (Campaigns & Performance- Paid Social Media)


Our client is an integrated marketing agency with B2B Clients across automotive, commercial vehicles, logistics and green technologies.

They work with established premium brands across the UK and Europe.


They are looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Manager to lead the Digital Team and drive measurable growth for their clients across paid and organic channels. This is a senior, hands-on role combining strategic leadership with delivery.


For this role we require senior level experience working on B2B Clients from an AGENCY side background Designing, Building and Owning Digital Campaigns.

You will have great client facing skills (delivering proposals) and be able to understand Data Analytics/ Campaign Optimisation/ Audience Reach and explain that to the clients.

Big budgets (average spend is £30K on a paid campaign)

Experience of Line managing (this will manage x3 people (X2 Paid Social Manager and X1 Organic Social Manager)



Role Overview

This is a senior, hands-on role combining strategic leadership with delivery.

You will be accountable for campaign performance, demand generation and how multi-channel digital activity contributes to pipeline and revenue.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead a team of paid media and social specialists, working closely with clients. You will have the ability to translate campaign performance into clear business impact is essential.


Paid Media Responsibilities

You will lead the strategy and execution of multi-channel paid campaigns across key platforms, with a focus on Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok, supported by Google estate and emerging channels.

You will manage full-funnel campaign activity, ensuring alignment between brand awareness, demand generation and pipeline building.

You will develop clear, commercially grounded campaign messaging from client briefs, ensuring creative execution is relevant to specialist audiences and aligned to sales messaging.

You will manage and optimise six-figure budgets, applying structured testing frameworks and financial control to maximise return.

You will embed a test-and-learn culture, running structured experiments across audiences, creatives and channels to continuously improve performance.

You will identify, test and scale new channels and formats, including platforms such as Reddit and emerging B2B environments, diversifying and unlocking new growth opportunities.


Organic Social Responsibilities

You will own the organic social strategy across client accounts, ensuring it supports integrated, multi-channel campaigns and broader commercial objectives.

You will develop content frameworks and campaign messaging that reflect the realities of their clients’ sectors, combining technical insight, operational relevance and a clear value proposition.

You will guide the creation of platform-specific content, ensuring consistency, quality and alignment.

You will use performance data to refine content and campaign effectiveness.

You will ensure organic and paid social operate as an integrated system, using insights from each to strengthen overall performance.


Web Optimisation

You will influence the development of client websites as core channels within campaigns, making recommendations on how they function as effective conversion engines.

You will identify and implement improvements across user journeys and landing pages to increase performance.

You will lead SEO strategy in partnership with content teams, ensuring sites are technically robust and aligned with search demand, sector terminology and commercial intent.


Your Leadership Role

You will lead, develop and grow a team across paid and organic disciplines, setting clear standards for campaign delivery and performance.

You will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, coaching and performance management, building a culture of accountability, testing and continuous improvement.

You will ensure team output is aligned to client objectives, with a clear focus on campaign effectiveness and commercial outcomes.

You will actively monitor changes across digital and social platforms, including algorithms, ads and user behaviour, assessing their impact on current campaigns and channel mix. You will translate these changes into clear, actionable recommendations to maintain performance and identify new opportunities.


Background & Skills

You have a strong track record in B2B digital marketing, ideally within sectors such as automotive, logistics, industrial or technical products and services.

You have proven experience leading multi-channel digital campaigns across paid and organic channels.

You are confident developing campaign messaging that aligns with commercial objectives and resonates with specialist audiences.

You are experienced in building and applying structured testing frameworks and using data to inform optimisation and growth.

You are confident managing significant budgets and accountable for delivering measurable commercial outcomes.

You are highly data literate, able to interpret performance across channels and translate it into clear actions and business impact.

You have proven leadership experience, managing and developing teams in a performance-driven environment.

You are comfortable working with senior client stakeholders, able to challenge constructively and guide decision-making.

You bring a structured, curious mindset, using testing, experimentation and new channel development to drive continuous improvement.
