RPG Developer with iSeries (f/m/x)

We are looking for an RPG Developer passionate about developing and maintaining applications critical to business and production operations. The role focuses on supporting business‑critical systems within a global financial organisation, primarily through production (BAU) support while acting as a subject‑matter expert. It also involves contributing to enhancements in an Agile environment and collaborating with international technology teams to ensure high quality and reliability.

Your tasks

• Providing BAU production support during UK business hours, ensuring SLA compliance
• Diagnosing and resolving incidents, with an understanding of system functionality and integrations
• Engaging with business users to manage end‑to‑end issue resolution and communication
• Managing support tickets, prioritisation, mitigations and long‑term fixes
• Performing key BAU activities such as backups, security reviews, audits and upgrades
• Contributing to Agile delivery, documentation and continuous improvement

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as an RPG Developer
• Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Experience in application support and/or software development within an enterprise or global environment
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to work independently and under pressure
• Solid system and business analysis capabilities
• Hands‑on experience with IBM iSeries and ILE RPG
• Knowledge of modernisation approaches (SQLRPG, free‑format RPG, APIs)
• Strong written and spoken English
• Self‑motivated mindset, strong time management skills and willingness to take on additional responsibilities
• Willingness to work from the Cracow or Warsaw office 6 days per month
• Residing in Poland required

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of investment banking or wealth management is advantageous
