About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Technical Account Manager (TAM) with strong expertise in Oracle technologies and enterprise customer engagement. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them maximize the value of Oracle products through proactive support, technical guidance, escalation management, and strategic service delivery.
The TAM will serve as the primary liaison between the customer, Oracle support/services teams, and implementation partners to ensure successful deployment, adoption, and ongoing optimization of Oracle solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Provide proactive and reactive technical support for Oracle production environments.
Manage customer escalations end-to-end, including situation management and executive-level communication.
Drive customer success by recommending product usage best practices and operational improvements.
Develop and maintain customized Service Delivery Plans aligned to customer business needs.
Conduct annual account planning sessions and periodic value-based delivery reviews.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Technical Support, Consulting, Product Development, Sales, and Expert Services.Deliver technical consulting, implementation guidance, and project coordination support.
Monitor customer environments and provide strategic recommendations across technology, governance, process, and operations.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and successful adoption of Oracle solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of experience administering Oracle production environments.
Strong hands-on experience in:
Oracle Database Administration
Performance Tuning
Backup & Recovery
Good conceptual understanding of:
Oracle RAC
Data Guard
ASM
Grid Control / OEM
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)Understanding of cloud platforms such as:
OCI
Microsoft Azure
Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Excellent customer management and escalation handling skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to independently manage complex customer situations and deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in project management and customer delivery management.
Exposure to ERP, CRM, or enterprise package implementations.
Knowledge of enterprise technical architectures, operating systems, networking, and web-based applications.
Experience working with RDBMS technologies such as Oracle, DB2, and MS SQL Server.
PMP Certification or strong project management experience across global organizations is an added advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Management, or related field.
