Job Duties In Brief
- Be responsible for all team activities such as Sprint Planning , Sprint Execution , Daily Scrum , Sprint Review , Sprint Retrospective
- Lead development of entire application.
- Have strong technical skills to come up with system designs
- Perform peer reviews and ensure the quality of the team’s work
- Responsible for code integration and code deployment of existing modules as well as provide new pipelines for new modules (CI/CD)
- Have strong background in AWS services and practices.
- Be responsible for delivery of entire project from all perspectives. This includes, development, testing, devops, support and architecture design.
- Break-down complex functionalities into granular tasks and stories
- Stay current on emerging technologies and be able to match them to Citco need when required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- 8+ years of experience with software engineering
- 5+ years of experience with Java /Spring/Hibernate
- 3+ years of experience with NodeJS + Typescript
- 3+ years of experience with React
- 3+ years of experience with python
- 2+ years of experience in team leadership role
- 2+ years of experience developing and deploying application to run on AWS infrastructure
- 2+ years of experience working with various AWS services. Must have strong understanding of multiple AWS services and how to deploy/monitor them.
- Working knowledge of Kotlin is a plus
- Strong skills developing server-side applications using Node.js frameworks such as or similar to NestJS/Hono
- Solid understanding of HTML5, ES6, CSS3, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks
- Experience with source code management such as GIT
- Strong skills with relational databases (ideally Oracle, PostgreSQL)
- Experience working with Agile teams
- Solid understanding and demonstrated proficiency with core software development processes - debugging, code tuning, code management and branching, coding styles and refactoring
- Must be self-motivated and driven, with strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of financial industry, specially accounting / general ledger will be preferred.
