Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage and service a book of middle market clients. This role partners with Producers to deliver proactive, strategic service, ensure accurate policy management, and support strong client retention and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as primary contact for middle market clients, building strong, long-term relationships
- Manage the full renewal process, including strategy, marketing, proposals, and binding
- Prepare applications, exposure data, and submission materials 120+ days in advance
- Review policies, endorsements, audits, and cancellations for accuracy and coverage
- Collaborate with carriers and underwriters to negotiate terms and resolve complex issues
- Identify coverage gaps and recommend solutions aligned with client needs
- Support Producers with client meetings and renewals
- Maintain accurate documentation and manage service timeline in a fast-paced environment
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and round out accounts
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of Commercial insurance experience (middle market preferred)
- Active Property & Casualty license required
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and markets.
- Experience managing complex accounts and renewal strategies
- Proficiency with an agency management system (EPIC, AMS360, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities
