About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable Senior Full Stack & DevOps Engineer to modernize and scale our healthcare-oriented platform. With a strong focus on clinical integrations and operational reliability, this role is heavily backend- and infrastructure-oriented (approximately 80% backend/DevOps and 20% frontend). You will tackle complex interoperability challenges, manage multi-cloud environments, and take true ownership of production systems. A major focus of this position is leading our transition into an autonomous, "agentic" DevOps era using tools like n8n, AI-assisted workflows, advanced automation pipelines, and intelligent operational tooling. If you combine deep backend expertise with a passion for infrastructure automation and solving intricate healthcare integration puzzles, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Development
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using C# and modern .NET.
- Build and maintain REST APIs, integration services, background workers, and processing pipelines.
- Architect resilient, secure healthcare integration flows for complex interoperability scenarios involving legacy and modern EHR systems, with a primary focus on US-based EHR platforms.
- Implement comprehensive logging, observability, monitoring, and fault-tolerant architectures.
- Optimize system performance and ensure high reliability in production environments.
DevOps, Cloud & Infrastructure
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and related tooling.
- Manage and optimize Docker-based deployments and Linux environments across multi-cloud setups.
- Lead the transition toward agentic DevOps workflows using n8n and AI-assisted operational tooling.
- Implement robust infrastructure automation and operational workflows.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues spanning infrastructure, networking, deployments, and integrations.
- Take active participation in production maintenance and operational ownership.
Frontend Development & Compatibility Solutions
- Maintain and enhance React-based web applications.
- Build internal operational dashboards and administration interfaces.
- Integrate frontend applications securely and efficiently with backend APIs.
- Familiarize with old browser technologies for applying compatibility site hosting, utilizing tools like extensions, plugins, and iframes to engineer highly creative and effective bridge solutions.
- Ensure strict security compliance when hosting and integrating browser-based applications.
Architecture & Innovation
- Propose creative technical solutions for challenging healthcare interoperability problems, specifically navigating the intricacies of US healthcare standards.
- Improve overall operational efficiency through automation and intelligent workflows.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and the long-term evolution of the platform.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies relevant to automation, cloud operations, and healthcare systems.
Required Qualifications
- Experience integrating with EHR/EMR systems (HL7 and/or FHIR experience highly desired), with extensive knowledge of major US platforms.
- Proven ability to design and implement creative, browser-based plugin and extension solutions for legacy system integrations.
- Software Engineering: Strong experience with C# and modern .NET (.NET 8/9/10 preferred). Proven experience building scalable RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and working with SQL, ORM on No-SQL technologies.
- DevOps & Cloud: Strong hands-on experience with Docker, containerized environments, Linux system administration, and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with multi-cloud environments, networking, reverse proxies, SSL, and infrastructure security.
- Automation Mindset: Experience with workflow automation platforms (e.g., n8n) and a keen interest in AI-assisted tooling to eliminate repetitive operational tasks.
- Frontend: Working knowledge of React, modern frontend development practices, and API integration.
- Problem Solving: Strong debugging and production troubleshooting skills with a deep understanding of asynchronous programming.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with identity and access management systems such as Keycloak.
• Experience with Redis, messaging systems, event-driven architecture, or Kubernetes.
• Experience building AI-assisted operational workflows and internal tooling.
• Background working in regulated, high-availability, or compliance-driven environments.
