Key Account Manager – Automotive

SINOTEC is a leading global automotive component supplier committed to innovation and excellence. Following our strategic acquisition of part of Valeo’s sensor business, we are significantly expanding our footprint in Europe. We are looking for a high-caliber Key Account Manager based in France to spearhead our growth, manage tier-one relationships, and deliver cutting-edge sensor solutions to the world’s most prestigious OEMs.


The Role

As the Key Account Manager, you will be the face of SINOTEC to our most strategic partners. You will inherit a robust portfolio of sensor technologies and be responsible for driving business growth with major OEMs and Tier 1s.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Management: Build and maintain deep-level relationships with key stakeholders and other regional OEMs.
  • Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities (RFQs) for our sensor portfolio.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute account-specific strategies to increase market share and ensure long-term profitability.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, terms and conditions, and long-term supply agreements.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to provide feedback to our global R&D and product teams.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams in China and Europe to ensure customer technical requirements are met and projects are delivered on time.


Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in Sales or Key Account Management within the automotive industry (Tier 1).
  • Product Knowledge: Prior experience with automotive sensors or electronic components is highly preferred.
  • Network: A strong, existing network within OEMs is a significant advantage.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Language: Native or professional fluency in French and English is mandatory, Germany is preferred.
  • Mindset: A "hunter" mentality with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel and occasionally to global headquarters.
