The Role
- Develop the software platform for medical devices as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Lead new and further development of the software platform, considering functional, normative, and economic aspects
- Implement software using test-driven development methodologies on Linux
- Test and document software modules in coordination with software architects and testers
- Successfully completed studies in Computer Science or a comparable qualification with a focus on software development
- Several years of professional experience in C++ software development, with a focus on device development, ideally in medical technology
- Strong knowledge of software architecture and requirements engineering
- Proficiency with JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence, and Python scripting
- Experience in cybersecurity and familiarity with IEC 62304, EN ISO 13485, Directive 93/43/EWG, and MDD/MDR is a plus
- Good MS-Office skills and strong English communication skills
