Indexed description
An established, prominent healthcare technology corporation that develops an AI-powered diagnostic platform engineered to detect critical, life-threatening medical conditions in real time.
Operating with a global workforce, the enterprise combines cutting-edge machine learning with high-scale data engineering to support healthcare providers worldwide.
The company is located in Tel Aviv (train-accessible) and operates on a hybrid model of two days of remote work.
Key Responsibilities-
- Designing, developing, and optimizing high-volume batch and real-time data ingestion pipelines using distributed streaming frameworks.
- Writing performance-tuned, scalable production code inside microservices and asynchronous messaging architectures.
- Automating and provisioning cloud infrastructure, resource schedulers, and serverless compute jobs utilizing configuration management tools.
- Managing complex data lake storage schemas, relational/non-relational databases, and orchestration engines to maintain information velocity and consistency.
- Profiling data architectures to eliminate system lag, reduce pipeline costs, and maintain zero-downtime execution environments.
- Tech Stack- Python, AWS, Terraform, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, S3, Kinesis, Kafka, Spark, Airflow, and DBT.
Requirements
- 5 years of professional software engineering experience specializing in heavy Backend architectures, distributed systems, or large-scale Data Engineering (Mandatory).
- Comprehensive, production-grade programming proficiency utilizing Python, Node.js, Java, Scala, or Kotlin (Mandatory).
- Proven hands-on development experience building and deploying cloud-native systems within public Cloud environments, preferably AWS (Mandatory).
- Practical technical familiarity with advanced data processing frameworks and event streaming tools like Spark, Kafka, or Kinesis is a highly significant professional advantage.
- Direct engineering experience working with AWS cloud services (such as S3, SQS, SNS, EC2, ECS, Kinesis, or Lambda) and infrastructure tools like Terraform is a significant advantage.
- B.Sc. or higher technical degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field is a valuable asset.
