Key Responsibilities
Business Development & RFQs
- Drive new business development and customer acquisition within the automotive OEM and Tier 1 supplier ecosystem.
- Own the end-to-end RFQ/RFI/RFP process, including commercial terms, pricing strategy, quotations, and negotiations.
- Conduct pricing, margin, and cost analysis to support competitive and profitable bids.
- Serve as the primary commercial interface for major OEM and Tier 1 customers.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with customers and strategic partners.
- Partner closely with distributors and internal stakeholders to grow account penetration and add long-term value.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts with engineering, program managers and other stakeholders to support sample builds, pre-production activities, SOP readiness, and program ramp-up.
- Support forecasting and capacity planning to ensure on-time and successful program launches.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, tariffs, and geopolitical factors to inform pricing and go-to-market strategies.
- Develop account and market strategies to achieve or exceed revenue and growth targets.
- 3+ years of experience in automotive business development, account management, or commercial strategy, with hands-on RFQ experience
- Proven success managing OEM and Tier 1 customer relationships at the executive level.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or engineering.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
- Analytical mindset with experience evaluating business opportunities and driving actionable outcomes.
- Familiarity with automotive technologies such as TFT displays, touch systems, ECUs, control panels, and climate control solutions.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.
- Mandarin language proficiency is a plus.
