Our client, a leading women’s apparel division within a New York–based fashion group is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales professional to support and grow wholesale business across department stores, chain stores, and off-price retailers. This role focuses on driving seasonal sales, managing key retail partnerships, and expanding distribution within the moderate-price dress and sportswear market. The team is open to hiring at multiple levels depending on experience, including Sales Manager, Account Executive (AE), or Senior Account Executive (SAE). This is a fast-moving opportunity with strong exposure to senior leadership, reporting directly to the President/Owner.


Based 5x a week on-site in Midtown Manhattan.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow wholesale accounts across department stores, chain stores, and off-price retailers
  • Drive seasonal and in-season sales performance for the dress division
  • Develop new business opportunities and expand distribution channels
  • Present seasonal collections to buyers and key retail partners
  • Collaborate with internal merchandising and production teams to ensure alignment on assortments, deliveries, and execution
  • Monitor sell-through performance and identify opportunities to maximize growth
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key retail partners and buyers
  • Participate in market appointments, line presentations, and sales meetings


Qualifications

  • Experience selling dresses or sportswear (moderate price point preferred)
  • Wholesale experience required
  • Established relationships with department stores, chain stores, and/or off-price retailers preferred
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing multiple accounts
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to deadlines and detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment


Salary: $80k-$200k DOE
