Account Executive

3–5 days in New York office + Travel

$70,000–$80,000 base salary + uncapped commission (Year 1 commission target: $30,000–$40,000)


A VC-backed B2B SaaS startup in the supply chain/procurement space, targeting SMB food and consumer goods brands, is looking for an Account Executive to be part of the founding team in New York.


A closing-focused, end-to-end sales position. You'll take qualified leads from discovery through to signed contract, building relationships with founders and operators at scaling brands.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the full sales cycle: manage qualified opportunities from discovery through to close, running sharp discovery calls, product demos and commercial negotiations with founders and operators at scaling food and consumer goods brands
  • Diagnose customer pain points around supply chain, cashflow and margin
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting, keeping CRM data clean and reliable, forecast consistently and drive deals forward with structured next steps and urgency
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, partnering with SDRs, Marketing, Growth and Product to improve conversion rates, remove deal blockers and share market intelligence
  • Attend and network at industry events to build credibility, generate deal flow and strengthen relationships within the US food and consumer goods sector


What They're Looking For:

  • 2–5 years in B2B sales with at least 1 year in a closing role
  • A proven track record hitting or exceeding targets
  • Background selling technology solutions to small and mid-sized businesses
  • Consultative selling skills, asking smart discovery questions and skilled at navigating objections and negotiating terms
  • Self-motivated and consistent under ambiguity, someone who builds repeatable performance
