Senior Account Executive | Founding AE Opportunity

Our client is an early-stage AI startup building next-generation technology that helps organizations unlock faster, more accurate insights from their data through AI-powered workflows and natural language interaction.
They are looking for a Founding Account Executive to help build the commercial side of the business from the ground up.
This is not a plug-and-play sales role. It is ideal for someone who wants to be part of building something early, work directly with founders, influence GTM strategy, and play a major role in shaping the future of the company.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close
- Build pipeline through outbound prospecting and strategic account development
- Partner directly with founders on demos, messaging, and GTM initiatives
- Help define ICP, sales playbooks, and early sales processes
- Sell into technical and data-focused organizations across the U.S.
- Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
Ideal Background
- 3–6+ years of full-cycle B2B SaaS sales experience
- Strong outbound hunting and pipeline-building skills
- Experience selling technical or complex solutions preferred
- Comfortable operating in startup or early-stage environments
- Builder mentality with the ability to thrive in ambiguity
- Strong consultative discovery and executive communication skills
- Experience selling into data, analytics, engineering, or technical buyers is a plus
Compensation
- Base salary: ~$130K–$150K (negotiable)
- Uncapped commissions
- Equity included

Location
Hybrid role based in the New York City / Northern NJ area.
