Tech Lead

Description

We are seeking a Technical Lead / Full Stack Software Engineer who blends hands-on coding, system architecture, and team leadership. This is a highly technical position with leadership responsibilities, not a purely managerial role.

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack systems that support integrations and seamless data exchange across services. You will play a central role in shaping system architecture, driving technical decisions, and upholding high engineering standards.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, engage directly with end users (senior executives), and take ownership of products from initial concept through to production. At the same time, you will mentor junior engineers through code reviews, feedback, and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities:

-Architecture & Build

• Design and implement scalable, maintainable full-stack architectures
• Build production-ready applications using modern frameworks and best practices
• Define and evolve system architecture, making key decisions in uncertain contexts
• Contribute across the entire stack to ensure system consistency and performance
• Maintain high code quality through rigorous reviews and engineering standards
• Make critical architectural decisions in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

-Leadership

• Lead a team of 2–5 engineers, setting high standards for execution and problem-solving
• Anticipate and remove blockers to maintain team momentum
• Prioritize work to ensure focus on delivering shipped outcomes
• Provide clear, actionable feedback to support individual and team growth

-Ownership & Product Thinking

• Own the full product lifecycle, from PRD to production
• Partner with product managers to define solutions and priorities
• Translate complex business challenges into scalable technical solutions
• Challenge assumptions and propose improved product or architectural approaches
• Balance speed, scalability, and technical debt with a pragmatic approach

-AI Integration

• Define how AI is integrated into both the product and the development workflow
• Treat AI as a core system component, not just a productivity enhancer
• Drive adoption of AI-powered development practices and product capabilities

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience with React, Node.js, and NestJS in technical or team leadership roles, ideally within early-stage startups (Series A–C)
• Strong full-stack engineering skills with the ability to understand systems end-to-end
• Proven track record of delivering end-to-end products used by real customers
• Experience with testing, debugging, and maintaining production systems
• Solid understanding of modern full-stack and software architecture principles
• Experience making architectural decisions in fast-moving or startup environments
