Context/Project: Development, configuration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS
The external service provider will perform the following typical tasks and responsibilities:
- Platform Development: Implementing new configurations and customizations; analyzing and advising on requests for new functionalities; testing and validating changes; and writing/implementing code.
- Project Leadership: Running development projects in cooperation with the ServiceNow Architect and Administrator, and performing application/code reviews to ensure system integrity.
- Platform Maintenance: Managing the ServiceNow instance (binaries, configuration, Tomcat, Java, local backups, etc.) and performing upgrades and application patches.
- Database & Integration: Managing MariaDB database services and ensuring proper integration with Frontex systems.
- Operations & Support: Providing daily support for standard changes, analyzing and resolving application-related incidents, and performing bug fixes.
- Strategic Improvement: Contributing to technical designs, supporting architecture design, and assisting in risk management, disaster recovery, and security management.
- Documentation: Maintaining up-to-date solution documentation, including technical documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user manuals, and knowledge base articles.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Technical Knowledge and Professional Skills:
- Excellent hands-on experience in configuring, developing, and maintaining the ServiceNow platform (on-premise experience is an advantage).
- Experience creating customized solutions and working in a DevOps role for ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of IT security standards and understanding of complex information systems interoperability.
- Strong Troubleshooting: Open-minded with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Personal Attributes: High level of motivation, strong sense of responsibility, and ability to work in a stressful environment with minimal supervision.
SPECIFIC EXPERTISE (Mandatory)
- Specific Requirements:
- Practical knowledge of the ServiceNow products portfolio
- Practical knowledge of Service Management.
- Experience with requirements gathering, analysis, and project management.
- Knowledge of key integration technologies (Web Services, SSO, LDAP, REST, etc.).
- Advantageous: Experience designing ServiceNow platform solutions.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES
The following certifications (or equivalent) are required:
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
