Your Role
- Develop a world-class network security product that is distributed, resilient, and highly performant at large-scale deployments within enterprise customers.
- Adapt best engineering practices, including the creation of clear functional specs, design documents, and test plans, while ensuring code hygiene and thorough testing.
- Collaborate with a geo-distributed team to own and deliver projects end-to-end with high quality and predictability under minimal supervision.
- Mentor junior team members and participate in technical knowledge-sharing events, such as tech talks, boot camps, and community events.
- BE/BTech/ME/MTech or equivalent in Computer Science.
- 7+ years of software development experience with a focus on Distributed Systems Architecture.
- Advanced level programming proficiency in Python, Golang, Java, C, or C++.
- Professional experience developing software for networking or security products (TCP-IP, VLAN, IP, ICMP, DNS).
- Strong fundamentals in Operating Systems, Multi-threaded/Multi-Process Applications, IPC, and RPC.
- Hands-on experience working with web technologies and protocols including RESTful APIs, JSON, and Protobuf.

Pay Transparency - Role Location The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between CAD $148,000 and CAD $222,000 per annual.
However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
