Software Developer Full Stack

Orlando, FL / Mon to Thurs Onsite, Fri Remote

6 Month Contract could be extended up to 24 months - W2

Rate: $60 to $75/hr depending on years of experience

One of our clients is looking to hire a seasoned Backend / Full Stack Software Engineer in Orlando, FL for an upcoming 6 month contract with extensions.

Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and deliver commercial quality software solutions for web and mobile platforms

· Develop backend services and APIs using Java, Node.js, and Python

· Build and maintain microservices using modern cloud architecture in AWS

· Develop and integrate RESTful services supporting mobile and web applications

· Collaborate with cross functional teams using Agile and SDLC best practices

· Perform unit testing, behavioral testing, and support CI CD pipelines

· Troubleshoot application performance and system integration issues

· Work with open source frameworks and enterprise platforms

· Document technical designs, workflows, and implementation details

· Support production deployments and ongoing system enhancements

Technical Requirements

· Strong experience with Java and J2EE application development

· Hands on development with JavaScript, Node.js, and Python

· Experience with AngularJS and Node.js UI architectures

· Strong understanding of object oriented design and system architecture

· Experience building RESTful APIs and service integrations

· Experience with relational and non relational databases

· Experience working in Linux and Unix based environments

· Strong knowledge of CI CD, Git, GitHub, and GitLab workflows

· Experience with AWS cloud services and microservices architecture

Required Qualifications

· 5 to 8 years of software design and development experience

· Strong understanding of SDLC and backlog management

· Experience working in Agile Scrum environments using Jira

· 5 plus years of object oriented analysis and development experience

· Experience developing scalable systems for web or mobile applications

· Strong computer science fundamentals

· Bachelor’s degree or 17 years of equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience supporting Android applications using Java and Kotlin

· Experience with point of sale or terminal based applications

· Experience consuming vendor SDKs and third party APIs

· Experience with cloud monitoring tools like Splunk or Datadog

· Experience with application performance monitoring tools

· Understanding of modern SRE best practices
