Cloud Application Engineer

As a Cloud Application Engineer, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Design, develop, and deploy serverless and container-based applications on AWS using managed cloud services.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable cloud-based solutions across API, data, and integration layers.
• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to support environment provisioning and automated deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud applications with internal ERP systems.
• Support application deployments, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain cloud infrastructure and services.
• Follow engineering best practices, including code reviews, documentation, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing and deploying serverless applications on AWS.
• Practical knowledge of AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon S3, AWS SAM, and AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, ReactJS, and RESTful API development.
• Exposure to AI/ML services such as Amazon Bedrock and Textract is an advantage.
