As a Full Stack Engineer in our generative AI startup, your role will involve designing APIs and then architecting and implementing cloud based microservices to implement those APIs. In addition, your role would also involve implementing the user interfaces based on these APIs as well as integrating these APIs in the user interfaces of other products. You will work in a tight knit team, working closely with the founder and other founding engineers who have a strong track record of building industry defining machine learning and analytics products.

About The Role

As a Full Stack Engineer in our generative AI startup, your role will involve designing APIs and then architecting and implementing cloud based microservices to implement those APIs. In addition, your role would also involve implementing the user interfaces based on these APIs as well as integrating these APIs in the user interfaces of other products. You will work in a tight knit team, working closely with the founder and other founding engineers who have a strong track record of building industry defining machine learning and analytics products.

Job Function

• Ability to rapidly prototype ideas to fit user requirements and operational feasibility
• Ability to take prototypes and productionize them with well-architected, well-designed and testable code
• Practice test driven development and the ability to build test suites and frameworks that lead to high quality implementations
• Document and maintain software functionality
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
• Ensure software is updated with latest features

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in STEM educational background from reputable institutions
• Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience
• Frontend: Expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and proficiency with modern frameworks such as Angular.js, React.js, and Vue.js.
• Backend: Expertise in API design and implementation, ORM concepts and frameworks, knowledge and use of frameworks such as GraphQL, database schema design, application databases such as mongodb, postgres, mysql, dynamodb etc and the knowledge of how to build highly available, scalable and performant applications.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP
• Experience in microservices architecture and containerization
• Participation in or contribution to open-source projects, especially in the AI/ML domain.
• Startup experience
• Ability and willingness to work onsite 4-5 days a week at our Sunnyvale office
