The ideal candidate will be located between Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington.
Primary Responsibilities Will Include
- Interact with key decision makers at strategic end-users, machine tool dealers, and educational institutions through on-site visitations, e-mail, and phone communications.
- Provide Corporate and Technical presentations and Product Overviews to assigned customers to enhance knowledge and skills for FANUC CNC Products & Services.
- Solve customer issues by analyzing situations and recommending appropriate actions necessary to provide a final solution, Acting as an advanced level of customer support – technical, commercial, & administrative.
- Coordinate quotations and close sales for options, maintenance parts, service contracts and other FANUC products in the Aftermarket portfolio.
- Provide on-the-job training and formal instruction for customers as
- Draft and negotiate strategic support contracts and agreements with customers, in conjunction with Business Development.
- Ability to travel by air, both domestically and internationally, as required by business needs (up to 60% travel).
- High School Diploma or GED
- Degree in a technical or related field including Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering, or an equivalent combination of technical training and relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on technical experience in a related industry, including work in manufacturing operations, field service support, applications engineering, or technical sales roles.
- Strong understanding of parts used in industrial robotic and CNC systems, including controllers, drive units, motors, sensors, and related mechanical assemblies.
- Strong understanding of FANUC control systems, including their operation and configuration.
- Knowledge of FANUC policies, processes, and procedures
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively communicate, resolve problems, and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Exceptional technology skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Windows, the Microsoft Office Suite, and internet-based applications.
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to drive throughout the organization’s service area for business as required.
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid passport.
