Purpose of Position
Is responsible for managing the process and the Operations Technicians who bring client aircraft and crews under EJM's operational control to add them to our ATCO certificate. Will maintain a professional relationship with client personnel and Executive Jet employees to establish a definitive working atmosphere and to facilitate the process. Is responsible for maintaining appropriate historical records and files of transactions and activities. Is responsible for keeping EJM associates appraised of the on-certificate progress of each client aircraft and crew. Responsible to maintain an awareness of new developments in the aviation community concerning equipment, regulations, and trends. Responsible for assuring that the company’s goals for safety, security and quality are met by continual compliance with the company Safety Management System (SMS) program and reporting through the appropriate process any safety, security or quality recommendations or non-compliance observations.
Tasks And Responsibilities
- Is responsible to chair the weekly inter-department On Certificate Status meeting with Flight Operations Department, Client Relations and Managed Aircraft Sales departments.
- Provides supervision of the other Operations Technicians within the department. Provides communication between the VP of Maintenance and the rest of the department.
- Will accomplish the company "On Certificate Check List" to ensure compliance with FARs and Company requirements and to maintain a quality audit of equipment and crews.
- Will update the "on-line" checklist that depicts the progress of each aircraft and the crews going on-certificate within the system.
- Will accomplish new aircraft physical surveys to establish equipment status and determine discrepancies to be repaired.
- Will document results of surveys and ensure that fleet maintenance is informed of any discrepancies that need maintenance corrective action.
- Will maintain an aircraft "tail number" file of documents that established pertinent data for the process.
- Will maintain backup files of supporting process data.
- Will file written reports, as necessary, to the Vice President, Air Carrier and Director of Maintenance, Executive Jet Management, Inc.

- Appropriate and significant experience in Commercial Aviation Operations and/or Maintenance .
- Self-starting, highly motivated individual with desire to excel at project management.
- Ability to work with company personnel and outside entities to accomplish project goals.
- Computer skills to include Word, Excel, Access and basic Internet skills.
- Aviation certificate desirable.
- College degree desirable.
