We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and providing expert guidance on commercial insurance products. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial insurance, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and networking
- Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and risk analysis for clients
- Prepare and present insurance proposals and coverage recommendations
- Negotiate terms and pricing with insurance carriers
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Customer Service Representatives to ensure seamless service delivery
- Stay current on industry trends, products, and regulatory changes
- Meet or exceed sales targets and retention goals
- Process policy changes, renewals, and endorsements accurately and efficiently
- Respond to client inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in agency management system
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in commercial insurance sales and account management
- Strong knowledge of commercial lines products including General Liability, Property, Workers Compensation, Commercial Auto, and Umbrella coverage
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- Experience with specialty lines or niche markets
- Established book of business or network in the local market
- Experience with agency management systems such as Applied Epic, AMS360, EZLynx, or similar platforms

- This position is based in our Fort Mitchell, KY office. The role may require occasional travel for client meetings, industry events, and networking activities.
