Location: Nationwide Travel - Based from Redditch , West Midlands

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40hrs per week

Contract: Full Time/ Permanent

The Sales Account Manager Will Be Responsible For

  • Overseeing the delivery of services across our client contracts. The role will involve delivering ‘best in class’ services delivery experience to our clients and leading your team to ensure contract compliance and adherence. As Sales Account Manager you will be self-motivated and be proactive in your approach to problem solving.
  • Be responsible for achieving revenue targets in existing accounts through effective upselling of a range of surveying, monitoring, remedials and maintenance services
  • Be responsible for developing a new business pipeline and delivering sales in line with targets
  • Be responsible for the operational delivery of existing contracts and the mobilisation/implementation of new contracts and projects
  • Manage and support an established operational team of Supervisors, Consultants/Surveyors, Plumbers, Technicians and Engineers
  • Provide consultancy services & technical advice to clients
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with clients, staff, internal departments and external suppliers
  • Ensure that all operational, health, safety and environmental policies are implemented to ensure compliance with the companies external accreditation schemes
  • Produce reports on all aspects of contract, operational and staff performance
  • Ensure the delivery of a consistent and technically compliant service in line with the company’s internal quality management systems
  • Engage in business development activities through direct sales within existing and new accounts
  • Preparation of technical proposals and quotations
  • Provide technical support to the Marketing and Bid Submission teams
  • A team player who’s able to work in a fast-paced environment with technical teams

About You

Essential

  • Experience, minimum number of 2 years as a water hygiene account/sales manager
  • Legi onella accredited qualification (City & Guilds, BOHS or equivalent)
  • Full Driving Licence

Desirable

  • Demonstrate a proven track record in the management of a mobile workforce with a minimum of 2 years’ experience
  • Demonstrate a strong technical understanding or Account Management and Operational delivery in Water Hygiene
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen, commercial awareness and knowledge of the competitors and complexities within the market
  • Demonstrate sales experience, including upselling and new business
  • Demonstrate strong reporting and analytical capabilities
  • Demonstrate proficiency in basic IT applications- e.g. MS Word, Excel, MS Project
