Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Employee Benefits Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead all aspects of servicing our employee benefits accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. This role requires a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a team.
Work Arrangement: This is a full-time hybrid position reporting to our office located in San Antonio, TX.
Professional Responsibilities
- Account Management: Lead the service of employee benefits accounts, including renewals, plan design, and day-to-day client inquiries.
- Client Relationship: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including account managers, underwriters, and support staff, to deliver exceptional service.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve client issues promptly and effectively, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
- Compliance: Ensure all client accounts comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to provide clients with the best possible advice.
- Presentations: Prepare and deliver presentations to clients on plan options, benefits, and other relevant topics.
- Enrollments: Meet with clients and their employees to explain coverage options and assist with annual plan enrollments.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, plan details, and other relevant information.
- Possess an active Life & Health Insurance license (state of Texas)
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in Employee Benefits for an independent agency
- Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite tools and benefit administration systems
- Demonstrated success in providing exceptional customer service effectively
- Collaborative and works well in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
