The Role

We are offering sales position at multiple levels which will allow you to take that knowledge and apply it while helping our community maintain their mechanical systems. Whether it is working with building owners, tenants, or property managers, we are going to equip you will the additional skills and knowledge to expand upon your base and grow into a high-level Sales Executive with potential for vertical growth in the future. Our first-year employees are typically six figure income earners with no cap on potential earnings. The Account Executive owns and facilitates the customer relationship. It shall be the Account Executive’s function to generate sales of full mechanical services to new and existing customers. The Account Executive has at their disposal the engineering group for design-build projects. The Account Executive will be expected to propose and estimate his/her projects.


The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000. (The compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience).


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sell HVAC and plumbing projects with minimal supervision.
  • Conceptually design systems and provide customer solutions
  • Accurately estimate and price the projects you sell.
  • Build partnering relationships with owners, owner’s reps, and consultants responsible for the decision making process.
  • Develop a network of contacts and exceed their expectations.
  • Understand the customer's business and speak their language and to demonstrate technical expertise to develop credibility, loyalty, trust, and commitment from the customer to the Account Executive and Hermanson Company.
  • Have a technical knowledge of mechanical system operations.
  • Ensure satisfactory resolution of customer complaints.
  • Develop sales strategies to maximize the opportunity to obtain plan and spec projects.
  • Facilitate the technical interface between the customers and Hermanson's operations and engineering departments.
  • Work with the engineering department to develop scope documents for purposes of estimating.
  • Verify that customer design or modification requirements are met promptly and correctly.
  • Reviews company engineering changes and ensures that they are in accordance with customer expectations.


Education

  • High School Graduate
  • Sales/Customer Service Experience (3 years)
  • Experience with mechanical systems preferred
  • Excel and Bluebeam proficiency preferred
