Role Overview
As a Junior Account Manager, you’ll work with existing and newly onboarded customers, supporting relationship management, identifying opportunities to add value, and ensuring a positive customer experience. This is a developmental role designed to grow your commercial confidence and ownership.
Responsibilities
- Identifying and engaging new prospective customers within a defined ICP
- Conducting outbound activity via phone, email, and social channels
- Qualifying inbound and outbound leads through structured discovery conversations
- Booking high‑quality, sales‑ready meetings for Account Executives
- Ensuring meetings booked are well‑qualified and attended
- Maintaining accurate activity, lead status, and notes in CRM
- Some commercial experience (sales, account management, customer success, recruitment, or similar)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple accounts
- Commercially aware with an interest in SaaS and technology
- Motivated, coachable, and eager to progress
- £35k base salary plus £15k commission
- Hybrid working model based in Reading
- Structured onboarding and ongoing training
- Clear progression into Account Manager, Account Executive, or Sales Leadership roles
