Do you want ownership of a defined market where you can build a strong position, develop key customer relationships, and create visible commercial impact? SIKA Footwear is looking for a Key Account Manager to develop the business in Northwest Germany, with a focused approach to the Food and Pharma segments.
SIKA Footwear is a Danish, family-owned company founded in 1870. The company develops and supplies professional safety footwear for industries such as food production, healthcare, and manufacturing. With solid experience, strong products, and clear growth ambitions, SIKA Footwear focuses on building long-term positions in selected markets.
About the role
SIKA Footwear is sharpening its German strategy, with a focus on Northwest Germany and selected segments. The Key Account Manager role is suited to a commercially driven profile motivated by building a market, not just maintaining it, and who thrives on responsibility, ownership, and freedom within a clear strategic framework.
Your responsibility will be to own this defined market scope and turn it into a structured, growing business. You can look forward to:
- Execute the go-to-market strategy in North‑West Germany.
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities.
- Build and manage a structured, transparent pipeline in CRM.
- Develop and manage relationships with both distributors and selected end customers, including regular on-site visits.
- Drive meetings, presentations, and pilot activities.
- Participate in selected trade fairs and market initiatives.
- Ensure strong follow-up and pipeline progression.
You will report to the Export Manager and work closely with Sales and Marketing. The position is based in Northwest Germany, ideally in Lower Saxony or the Osnabrück/Northern NRW area and involves regular travel as well as quarterly visits to the headquarters in Herning.
What you bring
We are looking for a Key Account Manager with experience in B2B sales (or a combination of B2B and B2C) who is motivated by building and developing a market over time. Ideally, you have knowledge of Food, Pharma, PPE, or similar environments and experience translating customer needs into commercial solutions.
You are fluent in German and English, have a structured approach to your work, and are comfortable using CRM systems and managing a sales pipeline.
