We’re partnering with a global, product-led technology organisation operating at scale across multiple international markets. Their platforms power real-time digital experiences and large-scale data products used by enterprise clients to drive better decision-making.

Engineering is central to the business, with a strong focus on scalable architecture, high-performance systems, and real-time, data-heavy workloads. The platform is actively evolving toward a more distributed, microservices and event-driven architecture to improve performance, flexibility, and long-term maintainability.

This is a hands-on senior role where you’ll have real influence across both architecture and delivery.

💡 What you’ll be doing:

• Building and scaling full-stack applications (Node.js + modern frontend frameworks)
• Designing distributed systems aligned with enterprise architecture principles
• Driving microservices and event-driven architecture (Kafka or similar)
• Improving performance, scalability, and data integrity across systems
• Strengthening CI/CD pipelines, observability, and production reliability

🛠️ What they’re looking for:

• 4+ years full stack engineering experience (strong Node.js focus)
• Experience with microservices-based architectures
• Strong relational database expertise (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server)
• Experience working with Kafka or similar streaming/event platforms
• Strong understanding of APIs, system design, and scalable architecture
• Docker experience (Kubernetes beneficial)
