Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills):
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering.
- 2 + years of software development.
- Experience building web applications and familiar with AngularJS, HTML and CSS.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Python.
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Experience with databases such as SQL, Amazon RDS and DynamoDB.
- Excellent debugging and optimization skills.
- Unit/integration testing experience preferred.
- Experience with cloud technologies preferably AWS.
- Knowledge of serverless framework preferred.
- Excellent work ethic, ability to work and travel independently, and advanced strategic thinking skills.
- Expert level communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills. Expert level troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to influence and work as part of a cross-functional team.
- Detail-oriented, can identify and fix own bugs, and write quality code that runs efficiently.
- Passionate, positive, can-do attitude and can adapt to any challenge and willing to take ownership of problems and brings issues to full resolution.
- Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment.
- Develop new features and infrastructure development in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements.
- Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards of code quality and thoughtful application design.
- Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities.
- Validate requirements and designs for custom built software projects.
- Work across teams to define, drive, and facilitate the creation and adoption of platform architecture and standards.
- Engage with designers and front-end engineers, and collaborate with back-end engineers as we create reliable APIs.
- Primarily remote with minimum travel.
- The primary office is located in Durham, NC.
- Collaborate via MS Teams, GitHub comments and documents.
