About this opportunity:

We are now looking for a Fullstack Developer to join Team Hydra in the Automation & Orchestration domain.

Team Hydra develops and operates Ericsson’s internal R&D Configuration Management Database and related web services and APIs, forming a critical part of the provisioning foundation for Ericsson’s R&D private cloud infrastructure.

What you will do:

  • Design frontend features using Angular (16+), Material, TypeScript, RxJS, and related web technologies.
  • Implement backend services using PHP, Java/Spring Boot, Kotlin, Hibernate, and MySQL, including system architecture, integrations, and database schema design.
  • Breakdown of requirements, user story refinement, further clarifications with user if needed.
  • Follow and promote Agile and DevSecOps ways of working, including continuous improvements, retrospectives, PI planning, and alignment with agreed KPIs and SLAs.
  • Collaborate closely with other Automation & Orchestration teams, Product Owners, and Service Delivery/Domain Managers to secure high quality service delivery and continuous improvement of the Hydra platform and its ecosystem.

The skills you bring:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong frontend skills with Angular (16+), Material, TypeScript, RxJS, SASS/SCSS, and experience with real time or highly interactive web applications.
  • Backend development experience using PHP, Java, Spring Boot, Kotlin, Hibernate, and MySQL, including design of RESTful APIs, system integration, and data modeling.
  • Proficiency working in Linux environments (RHEL, Ubuntu) and with standard developer tooling such as GitLab, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile and DevSecOps ways of working (Scrum/Kanban or similar), including working in cross functional teams and contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the capability to work with minimal daily direction in a complex stakeholder landscape.
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written.
