Key Account Manager Construction France
Workplace: Remote ( France )
Job Purpose
The Key Account Manager Construction France will be Responsible for driving the growth and development of existing key accounts while actively identifying and securing new strategic partnerships within the assigned region. This Key Account Manager role is an integral part of the Key Accounts team and reports directly to the Head of Key Account Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and Develop Key Accounts: Identify and target national and international key accounts, with a particular focus on large construction companies.
- Negotiate Framework Contracts: Lead negotiations for framework agreements with key accounts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and long-term partnerships.
- Understand Client Needs: Conduct in-depth needs analysis for key accounts, identifying their specific requirements and ensuring tailored solutions are provided.
- Manage Major Projects: Proactively identify upcoming large-scale projects, gather relevant information to understand client needs, and collaborate with partners and distributors to develop and implement a comprehensive operational strategy throughout the project lifecycle.
- Enhance Key Account Sales Tools: Develop and optimize tools, resources, and services to support key account management and drive sales performance.
- Drive Sales Strategy: Implement sales strategies designed to increase both revenue and profit margins, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Monitor Sales Progress: Track sales activity against budget targets, providing regular updates and reports on progress.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with distributors and strategic partners to ensure seamless coordination and support for key account initiatives.
- Serval years of working experience in a similar position
- Professional background in sales
- Excellent communication skills in French and English, written and verbal
- Well-organized, accurate and thorough work, self-directed team player
- Willingness to travel across France and Europe approximately 60% of the working time
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analytically, as well as creative problem-solving skills
- Well-developed listening skills and a strong ability to engage at a variety of levels.
- Understands to prioritize for project completion and monitoring progress.
- Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration
- Solid knowledge and experience in applying strategy to the market
- Advaced skills in powerpoint is a ‘must have’
