Software Engineer

Role Overview:

TechioSoft Systems is looking for passionate and motivated Software Engineers to join our growing engineering team. As a Software Engineer, you will work closely with senior engineers, architects, QA teams, and DevOps professionals to design, develop, test, and support scalable software solutions. You will gain exposure to modern engineering ecosystems including cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, frontend frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted development tools.

This role is best suited for individuals who are curious, collaborative, hands-on, and excited to build impactful technology solutions while continuously expanding their technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Software Development & Engineering

• Develop, test, and maintain scalable web and enterprise applications
• Contribute to backend services, APIs, frontend components, and database integrations
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following established engineering standards
• Participate in the development of RESTful APIs and modern application architectures
• Support debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization activities
• Build applications with awareness of modern AI integration patterns, including APIs, intelligent workflows, and AI-enabled user experiences
• Collaborate on solutions that may incorporate Generative AI, LLM integrations, automation, or intelligent assistants

Modern Development Practices & AI-Assisted Engineering

• Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar tools to accelerate development, testing, debugging, and documentation
• Demonstrate understanding of prompt engineering concepts and effective AI-assisted developer workflows
• Leverage AI tools responsibly while maintaining strong code quality, security, and engineering standards
• Participate in adoption of AI-enabled software engineering practices including automated code generation, AI-assisted testing, and intelligent debugging
• Follow modern software engineering practices including code reviews, version control, and automated testing
• Learn and apply secure coding standards and DevSecOps principles

Cloud, Platform & Automation Exposure

• Work with cloud-native applications and containerized development environments
• Support deployments and automation processes using modern DevOps tooling
• Gain exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, cloud services, and infrastructure automation
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining application health, logging, and observability

Agile Collaboration & Delivery

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog discussions
• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA teams, UX designers, and senior engineers
• Translate functional requirements into technical tasks and implementation components
• Contribute to sprint deliverables and continuous improvement initiatives

Quality, Support & Documentation

• Assist with unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution
• Support production deployments and post-release validation activities
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing activities
• Ensure adherence to SDLC processes, coding standards, and quality guidelines

Learning & Growth

• Continuously learn new technologies, frameworks, and engineering practices
• Participate in mentorship and technical learning programs
• Contribute ideas and innovations to improve engineering efficiency and developer experience
• Build foundational expertise in scalable system design and enterprise application development

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern AI-enabled engineering workflows
• Basic understanding of Generative AI concepts, LLMs, APIs, and AI integration patterns
• Interest in emerging technologies including AI, automation, and intelligent applicationsKnowledge of programming languages such as .NET, C#, or Node.js
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular is an asset
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, APIs, and software development fundamentals
• Familiarity with Git/version control systems
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Passion for learning and working with modern technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Academic, or project experience in software development
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, or Google Cloud
• Exposure to AI/ML frameworks, LLM APIs, or intelligent automation solutions
• Experience using AI-powered coding assistants, developer productivity tools, or AI-enabled IDEs
• Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, or containerization concepts
• Understanding of databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Exposure to automated testing frameworks and CI/CD concepts
• Interest in AI-assisted engineering, automation, or intelligent applications

Team Structure / Hiring Plan:

• 13+ years – Engineering Development Manager
• 5 to 8 years – Junior Developers
• 1 to 5 years – Freshers / Entry-Level Developers
